Fully bound body, neck and soundboard. One-piece carved mahogany back, flat spruce top. The Gretsch Hawaiian logo is set on a banner and is pearl inlaid into a silver overlay. Matching pearl inlay flower and neck inlays are perfect. Neck is in great shape and tight to body. White buttons on original tuners. Nice intricate multi-layer binding around sound hole shows its age with some pulling away due to shrinkage. No body cracks or separation on this guitar. Overall length is 40-41 inches. Bout measures 12 inches upper, 16 inches lower. The guitar is 4 inches thick running to 5 inches thick at tail. Missing tail pin. Neck is 12/20 with a 26 inch scale. Mahogany with spruce top.
